Q + A

Is there a gift registry?

We’re so grateful for your presence at our wedding, so please don’t feel obligated to bring gifts—we have everything we need. However, if you’d like to contribute towards our honeymoon, please read more under the "Gift Registry" tab.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30pm. To ensure a smooth start, we kindly ask all guests to arrive by 3:00pm to allow time for parking and making your way to the ceremony site. Late arrivals may be asked to wait for an appropriate moment to join.

Is there public transport to/from the venue?

Guests requiring a taxi/Uber are advised to pre-book in advance. Perth Hills Taxi is a reliable alternative to Uber. Pre-Book at https://perthhillstaxi.com.au/ or call 0493 521 313

Where should I park?

There is plenty of free parking at the venue. Please ensure you park in marked bays.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Yes. You'll be directed on where to set down for easy wheelchair access. Please note that vehicles will need to move to main car park after drop off. If you require a valet service to relocate your vehicle please let us know.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Our ceremony is unplugged. As we tie the knot, please be our guest. We want to see your lovely faces and happy smiles! Our photographer will take care of the rest! You are welcome to take photos during sundowners and the reception.

What should I wear?

Dress to impress in your best formal attire! Please note that the ceremony will be held outdoors — we recommend packing a coat or jacket in case the love doesn’t warm you up enough. The reception will be indoors, so you can shed your layers and get comfortable for an evening of dining, dancing, and celebration.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

As the venue has rustic paving, chunky heels are recommended. You're welcome to change into comfy shoes when you're ready to bust a move on the dancefloor!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Weather permitting, our wedding ceremony will be held outdoors. We recommend bringing a coat or jacket to keep you warm. The reception will be indoors, so you can kick off your coat and get comfortable for the evening celebrations. Dressing in layers is a good idea to stay comfortable as we move from outdoors to indoors. If rain is forecast, don’t worry — we have an undercover ceremony option ready to go. Either way, we’ll make sure it’s beautiful!

What is happening between the Ceremony and Reception

Following the ceremony, we’ll take some time for photos with our guests, and shortly after, Tanya and Sean will slip away for their bridal portrait session. During this time, guests will enjoy a relaxed sundowner period — featuring a light grazing platter, drinks, and beautiful live music. It’s the perfect way to mingle and soak in the vibes before the reception begins!

What should we expect at the reception?

After sundowners you'll be directed to find your seat in the reception hall for dinner, dancing, and lots of fun — so don’t forget your dancing shoes! The evening will also include a few wedding traditions, such as speeches, the cutting of the cake, and of course, Tanya and Sean’s first dance as newlyweds.

Will there be food and drinks?

Yes! A dinner will be served, along with an open bar to keep spirits high throughout the evening. We’ve chosen a hearty 3 course set menu that will be served alternate drop — this means two different dishes will be served alternately around the table (e.g. one person gets Dish A, the next gets Dish B, and so on). If you’re not fond of what’s placed in front of you, feel free to swap plates with your neighbour — it’s all part of the fun! If you have dietary restrictions, rest assured — we’ve already passed these details on to the venue’s kitchen team, and they’ll be preparing special meals to accommodate your needs. Even if the menu doesn't seem to cater for your requirements, you will be provided with an alternative tailored just for you. You won’t go hungry!

Will there be dancing?

Yes! We can’t wait to dance the night away with our favourite people.

What time do the festivities end?

Tanya and Sean will finish the evening with a sparkler exit at 10:30pm, and as the venue is booked until 11:00pm, we kindly ask all guests to depart by then.

What happens if I’ve RSVP’d yes, but can no longer attend?

We understand that sometimes life throws curveballs — however, as we’ve finalised numbers and paid in advance for catering and more, we kindly ask that you only cancel in the case of a genuine emergency. We truly hope you can make it — your presence means a lot to us, and we’ve planned for you to be part of our special day.

Can I bring a date?

We’re so grateful for your understanding, but we’re unable to accommodate additional plus-ones beyond those specifically named on your invitation. This hasn’t changed — only the guests who RSVP’d have been catered for, and the venue is set to those final numbers. Thank you for respecting our wishes.

Whom should I call with questions?

Should you have any questions please call Tanya on 0447 541 331 or Sean on 0476 244 287
